Scripture Reflection – Nourished by God’s Word
Time : After Friday Mass
The Word of God is living and active, a light for our path and a source of strength for our daily lives. At Our Lady of Lourdes, Queen of Peace Parish, Scripture Reflection takes place every Friday after Mass, offering the community an opportunity to pause, reflect, and be guided by the wisdom of the Bible.
This gathering provides a space to listen more deeply to God’s voice. Through prayer, discussion, and reflection, parishioners grow in their understanding of Scripture and learn how to apply it to their everyday lives. It is an enriching moment where faith is deepened, friendships are strengthened, and hearts are uplifted.
Scripture Reflection is not only an intellectual exercise but a spiritual encounter with the living Word of God. It reminds us that God continues to speak to His people today, offering guidance, encouragement, and hope.
Each session opens with prayer, inviting the Holy Spirit to illuminate our minds and hearts. Together, we explore the readings, share insights, and discern how God’s Word calls us to action in our families, workplaces, and wider community.
